ERA SEQUENTIA ~The Future of Rebirth~
Pokémon Rebirth has now been in production 8 for years . While it has gained some popularity in the Pokémon fan circle, I feel more can be done to make it less intimidating and more reachable by a wider audience. To do this, I plan to direct the project towards visual formats. From this moment onward, the majority of stories are going to be produced as comics, to allow for easier translation into multiple languages. Comic formatting will also enable English-speakers with a difficulty for reading large volumes of text to be able to enjoy Pokémon Rebirth. Taking what I have learned from sketching "Blank Pages", comics will be primarily in black and white, with occasional colour pages to embellish needed parts of the story. Time spent producing stories may vary, as scriptwriting will need to be completed prior to drawing up comic pages. ALL STORIES IN PROGRESS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFFLINE AND PUT ON HIATUS. This will make it possible for us to focus on bringing you one full story at a time, instead of several half-finished ones. We hope to eventually turn all older completed text stories into comics. "Ultimatum" is currently exempt from this, due to its sheer size. Pokémon Rebirth's logo has also been modified slightly - primarily so that the project will no longer use registered trademark images, and secondarily, to send out the message that Rebirth is a project aimed at more established Pokémon fans. To enable to reach out to as many fans as possible, we need translators. If you are able to read/speak another language well, are enthusiastic about the project and could contribute some time to help bring Rebirth stories to readers in another country, let us know! |
