Kim Schuyler is the daughter of a famous Johtoan researcher of pokémon anomalies. This means she gets to see a lot of unusual pokémon variations. Jonathan takes an innate interest in species with abilities or physical attributes which are out of the ordinary and goes out of his way to seek them.

Used to having all sorts of people around the place, Kim is not at all shy around strangers. This can prove dangerous at times, since there are often criminals on the lookout for opportunities to kidnap the precious items stored within the mansion walls and sell them on the black market.
