Currency systems in
Oci function primarily on intangible credit. Coins and banknotes do exist in small number, but due to the presence of
Trainer Accounts, most inhabitants use cards to access their finances.
Oci operates on a universal currency, the 'Perjhi'
[pronounced purr-yee] named after
Persian as a species associated with opulence. With a rate very similar to that of the
Japanese Yen,
Perjhis can be grouped into hundreds which are referred to as 'Delcas' - after
Delcatty.
