Pat Wilson spent much of her childhood upon the hillside painting the surrounding landscapes and skies. Excited by their daughter's artistic talents, her parents enrolled her at the local Pokémon Watcher's Guild, but Pat soon found her niche in the realms of building design. She put her skills to good use when a particularly vicious storm destroyed the Guildhall.

Shortly after returning to Prela Village, Pat encountered Jack Wilson and a warm, if not unsteady relationship grew. Pat found herself drawn to Jack's mysterious personality and was often seen trying everything possible just to be around him. Some time later, they were married.

Pat thoroughly enjoys motherhood, and thinks of Caley as the very image of his father. As a result she can sometimes worry over her son's safety; afraid that Caley may let success go to his head.
