Ruby Schuyler is many years older than her sister, and as a result is often asked to keep tabs on the house and its contents while Jonathan is out on his archaeological digs. Despite her incessant nagging, Ruby and Kim get on surprisingly well and will often spend time together in the garden playing with the pokémon.

Ruby loves children, though she doesn't seem intent on becoming a mother any time soon. When she's not running around Prism town with her friends chasing after kids and smothering them with affection, Ruby is in her room designing 'artistic' outfits for them to wear. Needless to say she's not all that popular with anyone under ten, besides Kim.

Ruby is a talented photographer, though her subject matter is more often human than pokémon.

Ruby loves to watch Pokémon Contests and dreams of visiting Sinnoh, the contest capital.
