The Guardsmen (also known as the G-Men and the International Police) is an undercover organization dedicated to handling complex situations of moral, environmental and economic significance. They work alongside regional authorities and sometimes the Agrarian Seers in order to maintain balance throughout Oci.

Ondus Verich founded the organization in 1981FD, following the collapse of Cipher and serving his jail sentence. The initial reason for the Guardsmen's existence was to aid and protect members of the Lunari, whose existence Ondus discovered after Cipher's demise. Their role then expanded to keeping watch for environmental anomalies and the activities of other large scale criminal groups.

Over the years, the Guardsmen have gathered an extensive variety of research, which is contained in their archives. They also have access to some of the most advanced technology in Oci, thanks to their connections with the Lunari.
