Azima Kenedith is the Midna City Gym leader and a highly-strung, mysterious woman who spends the daylight hours inside her gym - only to roam in the pitch black of night. Some say it is because her bond with her dark Pokémon is so strong that she now acts like them.

Azima is no stranger to dimensional anomalies, having befriended and trained alongside a Diguard. Guilty over things the organization she studied under did in the past, Azima feels it her responsibility to keep a careful watch on her city to make sure it is free of Ghost Type Pokémon influence.
