Gloria Simmons is the daughter of one of Phineas Fuji's co-workers. Intelligent beyond her years, she held a great respect for pokémon from a young age, along with an innate fascination with their abilities and behaviours. One of her many aims was to discover whether pokémon feelings were the same as humans.

With a Phrossa-born father and a Kanto-born mother, Gloria has a curiously mixed accent. She dedicated a lot of effort into bringing up Mondo following his arrival at Team Rocket, seeing him partly as a son, partly as a younger brother.
 

Abilities

Gloria has a wide knowledge of both human and pokémon biology. She is also good at needlecraft.

Preferences

Gloria admires the work of Pokémon Breeders and wishes to run her own breeding centre some day.

History

Gloria was taken into the custody of Team Rocket in order to force her father's hand with regards to Project Omega. So long as he lent assistance to the project, Gloria was to be kept safe.

After the failure of Project Omega, Team Rocket researchers turned their attention to Gloria's notable intelligence in the field of genetics. At the age of 14 she was recruited as a Junior Scientist, but the others mocked and insulted her because of her reluctance towards a lot of her duties. She was later relegated to laboratory-based medical assessments.

A relatively young Haunter, Amu is unaware of the link between the suffering of other creatures, and the negative emotional energy she finds so delicious. As a result, she does not go out of her way to scare or torment, but instead is attracted to areas where negative emotion is rife. She is friendly and quite sociable, as well as a touch mischievous.
