Ultraspace [also known as 'Cyberspace'] is the definition given
to an ethereal environment set apart from 'Realspace' (the
tangible environment which the majority of life thrives in). It is a highly
unpredictable and relatively uncharted area, with potentially massive amounts of
dynamic energy known to most scientists as
Distortia.
There are many theories in circulation regarding the properties
of Ultraspace. One is that the realm itself consists of many different
'atmospheric layers'. Each layer shows its own traits and properties, but exist
on several different axis, and not all are accessible by humans.
Pokémon known to live in Ultraspace are
Arceus, the
Unown,
Lati,
Dialga,
Palkia and Giratina.
Ultraspace
is also the origin point of
ghost type pokémon.
