Pokémon Guardians are species of powerful Pokémon designated important duties of protectorship and environmental maintenance by
the
Original One. These guardians usually work in conjunction with members of the
Agrarian Seers.

|
Mew
Referred to in some sacred texts as "The Opus". While not entirely classed as a Guardian,
Mew does wield the important job of maintaining the
Tree of Beginning and its connections with
Ultraspace. |
|
Arceus
Created as the first
Aura Conduit,
Arceus took on the duty of forming
Oci and its inhabitants - working in tandem with Mew. Later relieved of its responsibilities due to a selfish act of power-hungry disobedience, Arceus now spends most of its time
observing Oci from the borders of Ultraspace. |
|
The Lati
Created as messengers and surveyors,
the Lati are rarely seen in their true forms - either remaining invisible during their time on Oci, or taking on human guises in order to blend amongst others. |
|
Lugia
One of several multi-member species,
Lugia are overseers of the world's undersea currents and similar water activity. |
|
Articuno
Created for weather-based duties,
Articunos are responsible for regulating the temperature for winter weather. |
|
Moltres
Created for weather-based duties,
Moltres are responsible for regulating the temperature for summer weather.
|
|
Zapdos
Created for weather-based duties,
Zapdos regulate the electrical fields within the air.
|
|
Celebi
Once evolved from their previous form
Celeva,
Celebi are designated as watchers of the time stream. They find themselves most at home within forests due to the heightened level of Aura that exists there.
Others
|
|
Regis
While originally built by the
Pokémopolitans as security guards for their valuables, the living artificial constructs
Regirock,
Regice and
Registeel have since been adopted by the Agrarian Seers for a similar purpose. They are often sent to harsh environments to patrol sacred areas that humans and Pokémon would find challenging or impossible to thrive in. |
|
Jirachi
Jirachi was a designated replacement over Arceus' duties as Aura Conduit due to its similar mineral-organic biological structure. |
|
Giratina
Theorized to have been some kind of alien virus, Giratina was bound to the
Reverse World by the Agrarian Seers to prevent it causing damage elsewhere.
After Giratina grew to understand the inhabitants of Oci, its bonds to the Reverse World were loosened - allowing it more freedom to come and go there as it pleased. It then appointed itself guardian of the Reverse World, making sure that no further damage occurs to this already fragile portion of
Mindspace. |
|
Ho-oh
It is still uncertain as to whether
Ho-oh actually exists or not. Some think it is an appearance that Mew dons to give it more presence.
